Serving as Mayor of Radium Hot Springs is a tremendous responsibility, and the commitment to the community is not for everyone but it is for Mike. He is the perfect candidate to be the political figure and warm human who is willing to step forward, take responsibility, and genuinely care about the people they represent.
What makes his leadership even more meaningful is the combination of experience, education, and the ability to put those qualities into action. Mike has all this. Having known him for over 30 years, we met in Victoria, he’s never strayed far from his strong morals and foundation.
And on a personal level, there’s something to be said for anyone who has a genuine love for animals, especially dogs. Mike loves dogs and those who are dog owners and lovers tend to have a special capacity for compassion, loyalty, patience, and unconditional affection.
Those are qualities worth celebrating and standing behind. I will always support Mike.
